Kilauea Town is a former sugar plantation town, located on
the spectacular North Shore of Kauai just minutes away
from the famous Hanalei Bay, Na Pali Coast, the Historic
Kilauea Lighthouse and some of the best white sand beaches
in the world.
Kilauea is a small town with a local population of
approximately 2,000 people. In town there are three
restaurants. We have an excellent bakery, a fish market and a small
food market with gourmet, organic and deli food items. There are also
specialty gift stores, a convenience store, a gas station, plus
some other well kept secrets.
Ten minutes to the west is Princeville, a resort and residential
community with a shopping center, several restaurants, three
of Hawaii's best golf courses, tennis courts, a health spa and
a luxurious hotel.
Fifteen minutes to the west is Hanalei, a unique beach town and
residential community with a good selection of restaurants and
shopping options. It's beauty is unsurpassed with majestic
mountains and the white sand beach of Hanalei Bay.
Twenty minutes to the south is the much larger town of Kapaa
which has just about anything you might need.
